This work is a direct result of meditation. Working with my subconscious to bring about work that I am not even sure of its origin has been a powerful experience for me as an artist.
SPIRITUAL - SAINTS
This series started because I wanted saints to place on my altars. I wanted focal points that I could imbue with my own look and sense of the magic. Whether it is working with them as a focal point for meditation or creating a place to make offerings and work with them, these pieces are more than just paintings. They make space for spells, ritual and prayer.
